NEW FOOTAGE of an incredible hoverboard device which can fly the user up to 10,000-feet in the air has been released to showcase the exciting flight.

Thrilling images and video show Franky Zapata demonstrating the device flying above the ocean on his Flyboard Air, which can reach speeds of up to eight-six miles per-hour.

Other action shots show Mr Zapata hovering above the sea as the force from the Flyboard Air creates small ripples on the surface of the water.

The creative invention has a flying time of six minutes and weighs just fifty pounds.

Earlier versions of the Flyboard, which are water based rather than air, are available to rent from various centres in the UK.

This includes Flyboard Scotland in Buckie, WetJets Flyboarding in Dumfries, 158 Performance in Stamford and Aquatic Jetpacks in Poole.
