CHECK OUT this wacky one-of-a-kind holiday accommodation in the form of three vintage horseboxes in Herefordshire which are now available for rentals from just £59 per night.

The quirky ‘rooms’ are located in the grounds of Georgian Manor, Brooks Country House which lies in the beautiful Pengethley Park, near Ross-on-Wye.

The boxes have been cleverly transformed into outdoor hotel rooms, all of which feature their own en-suite, ensuring that there are no pitch-black dashes across the garden in the middle of the night.

Each of the rooms differ in size, with the smallest of the three having a double bed above the cab, whilst the other two rooms feature double beds and fold out bunks suitable for younger guests.

In addition to the en-suite complete with both bath and shower, guests can expect to be welcomed by crisp white linens and luxury bath towels, whilst all rooms come complete with a flat screen TV, free wi-fi access and complementary toiletries.

Away from the rooms there is also access to a shared hot tub, sauna and outdoor pool. Alternatively, guests may choose to take advantage of the comforts of the Country House whether it be sinking into the deep velvet sofas in the lounge or enjoying a glass of wine in the grandeur of the dining room.

If all of that isn’t enough to keep you entertained then there is plenty to do in the surrounding area, whether you fancy a stroll around the pretty towns of Ross-on-Wye and Hereford or taking in the Wye Valley at the popular tourist destination of Symonds Yat which straddles the River Wye.

For those of a more adventurous nature there are world class canoeing and cycling facilities nearby if you wanted to explore one of the most beautiful areas of the UK in a more exhilarating fashion.

Guests could also head over to the Cheltenham races for the day, although they should be careful not to confuse the equestrian transport for their bedroom or they may be in for a nasty and probably painful surprise.
